what are the differences between a 1994 bmw 325i and a 318i,im pretty sure the engine on the 318i is not as powerful but i want to know about other stuff like does the 318i come with the onboard computer? do they have leather seats? are they shorter then then 325i? does the 318i come with a sunroof? so what are the major differences in the 2 cars????

Major difference is the engine. 318 is a 1.8 four-clyinder making 138hp and 125 torque. The 325 is an inline 6 putting out 189hp and 184 torque.
The 318 does not have the option for leather seats, however if you wanted them bad enough you could swap the interior from a 325.
Cruise control is only optional in the 318, while standard in the 325.
No tilt steering.
The sedan 318 in 1994 didn't have alloy wheels.
Everything else is pretty much the same.
My advice is for the 325, if you get the 318 you will be wishing you got the 325 down the road.

Of course the major difference will be inside the car, the 325i has leather seats, also the doors linning, the suspension is different. Both cars have the same length, some of the 318 has sun roof and it comes with on board computer. But go for the 325i if u can.
BMW builds cars on a platform basis, a 3 series is a 3 series an dyou should be able to get the same options from one to another. In Germany it is common for car makers to offer several engines in the same car. The 318 wwas made for people that wanted a midsized car that lived in the city and did not plan to do allot of autobahn driving. the 318 has a 1.8 .liter inline 4 cylinder motor, the 325 has a 2.5 liter 6 cylinder inline motor. the i stands for fuel injected. In Germany you can order several motors 1.6, 1.8 2.0, 2.5, 3.0 3.5. there is also a number of diesel moters, but the acutaly car is the same.
