HI! The best thing is to go directly to the source and ask about the car—The Keith Haring Foundation.

Here is a link to their contact page, where you may simply email them about the history of the car. VoĆla!

But, remember, parts for BMWs are really, really expensive!

Thanks for asking this question. Best wishes!

look it up online. we have the m3. if you want cheap gas, get something with a small displacement. they have the series as the first number and then the displacement as the 2nd two number. so a 325i for examples is a 2.5 liter 3 series.
you'll be much happier if you get a new honda/acura. bmw's have high maintence costs, but if you really want one, they have an awesome warranty as well. i prefer honda/acura.
nope sorry, i drive ferrari

I have a 328i. It is the BEST car I've ever driven. Those Germans know what they are doing. I spend about $80/month on gas, but we probably drive different amounts.
No. I drive a ford escort. 30 bucks a month.
No, I drive a BMW on the road. It would be silly to drive one Here!
BMW 523i...
I used to have a Land Rover. It had a BMW engine in it.
i wish
i wish! :P...just dont get something like an x5, way to flashy
my daddy has a BMW. :)

When they say BMW's are high maintenance, what does that mean? more...?

My mom and i are going to share a car, since we really dont use it that much. We both agreed on a used Bmw coupe (328 or 225). Are these BMWs reliable? am i going to have any regrets?

BMW's are great cars. Performance, handling and style is about as good as it gets. The downside is that a car in such a state of tune requires more maintenance. New BMW's come with 4 years of scheduled maintenance. Thats great if you have $45,000. If thats the case, might i suggest buying two$20,000 cars? I own 2 BMW coupes. A 1993 318is with 240,000 miles and a 2001 330ci with 130,000 miles. I do all the maintenance on time myself and have had few problems over the years. If you're going to get an older BMW,and have someone else make repairs and do maintenance then be prepared to spend a lot of money. Even an independant shop will be costly.

BMWs are very reliable cars. They require no more maintenance than any other car if cared for properly. However, if you buy a used Beemer that's been neglected you may find yourself spending more than expected on repairs and catch up maintenance. Score a BMW with complete service records if you can. Good service records usually indicate an owner that took the time to maintain their car properly and is a plus.
BMW's require routine preventative maintenance. If you don't spend money upfront you will spend a bundle when a major engine components fails.
yes they are reliable since it is a BMW. but if you have any problems (like all cars do) then you will be needing to have a thick wallet to pay those maintenance bills. This depends on how you and your mom use the car.
If you don't abuse it, it will run good. yes, the parts are more expensive, but things break less on these cars, as compared to a civic. Also, if you buy the broken parts yourself, on ebay (from a reputable seller w/ good feedback...), you will save yourself a ton of money. Go with the 328.

Underglow on a BMW 3 series?

I have a 2006 330i BMW, and I was wondering if some 4 foot by 2.5 foot neon underglows would fit on it with the bulbs concealed. Also, should I get neon bulbs or LED? And would I be able to do it by myself with little to no car knowledge? And where would be a good place to by some green or blue ones? Thanks

P.S. I'm aware underglow on a bimmer is sacriligous, but I'm still in high school and like how underglow looks and really just getting them as a bit of a joke, so **** off haters :)

154,000 miles on a 1999 BMW 3series, a Little high?

I am looking into a BMW 3 series. I got financed to get almost any car on a local lot (good selection of BMWs).

Theirs a ton of BMWs for sale localy, But it hasn't been easy to find one that meets what i am looking for. (a black on black 2dr 328I). Most have tan interior, which doesn't look good to me.

Anyways, On said lot, I found one that ALMOST fits what i am looking for (its a 4dr instead of 2dr, But i can live with it i think). My only real issue is that it has 154,000 miles on it. (Its a 1999 BMW 328I), and that seems a little high, to me?

And i know how expensive BMWs are to fix, So i don't want one that will be dying soon due to high milage. With this kind of price ($10,995), i'd like it to last at least until its paid off!

Any opinions out there? do you think its too high and i should just wait for another one to come on the market (the dealership its at gets about 10 new cars a week, the majority are BMWs)?

Thanks.

buying a bmw is a big step, not only are they awesome cars, they are expensive to fix only if you take it to a dealer to fix. they will always rape you. your best bet is to find one not at a dealer. try going to rental companies, i think carmax sells their used bmws. also car auctions are amazing. i got my 2003 530i for very cheap. also, i found a mechanic who used to work at a bmw dealer and he always charges me half of what a dealer charges, also, if you want, you can buy the parts online and have a mechanic install them. anyway, good luck.

Where sound better BMW X5 2004 or Lexus RX330?

I am goign to buy either BMW x5 3.0 2004 or Lexus RX330 2004. Where is sound better and louder?

If your question is which car has the better exhaust sound? l would suggest the answer is 'neither one'. Why? Because both of these high performance cars are too quiet when doing their performance thing. Both cars are being constricted because of the stock exhaust systems.

thats a joke right? haha just kidding but BMW all the way. Lexus's are not sport cars. Their engines are very quiet and they are notoriously known for that. More of a smooth pillowy ride. You wont get that nice strong exhaust note like you will get from a Bimmer! All BMW's are made for the Sports driving Enthusiasts. I love the sound of BMW's exhaust...go for it!!!
BMW all the way! Its a classy yet sporty car. Its my all time favourite!!!
BMW hands down. They are built to run at high RPMs and you can really crank em. The M3s redline at 8000 RPMs! It's crazy! Beamers are fantastic and have such great German engineering. It's a great car. The X5 is WAY more sportier than and RX 300. You will not be disappointed with the X5.

well the sound system is replaceable so find the car you like if the radio isn't loud enough then up grade. but they both should have premium sound systems in them

What stock systems are they equiped with?

Adding all aftermarket speakers will sound better than the stock anyways...If you get the right stuff.

If you want "Base" (Bass) then you will want to add a subwoofer or two after you buy the car. Speakers will not provide much bass.
