im not sure about the bmw 3 series hardtop convertible because i live in jersey and im not sure about the snow in the winter if it could leak threw the roof if i get snow on the roof.. and can water come threw the hardtop covertible if i bring it in a car wash? answers would be wonderful i dont wanna throw away my money

The hardtop convertible is a much better choice as long as you don't plan on taking the car to the track... it is still a convertible and will not be as stiff as a coupe. It gives you great flexibility and I think you will enjoy the convertible more than you imagine in NJ... good convertible weather in NJ. Sweet car. Good luck. It won't leak... don't give it a second thought. If it were to leak it is under warranty for 4 yrs/50k and they would fix the problem right away. It is a non-issue.
