I'm getting a BMW 2006 model and wanted to know which is the better choice out of the series. I don't know a whole lot about cars but I want to here some opinions based on look and performance. So please if you know anything about the BMW please post it here. THANKS!!

If I were to get a new BMW i would go for the 2007 335i, sedan or coupe, all the luxury and performance you need but a long shot cheaper than the 5 series. Hard to say no to 300 horsepower twin turbo I6 with high 20's mpg.

Well the size of the car is the biggest difference between the 3 series and the 5 series, and the number refers to the engine size, for instance a 318 is a 1.8L engine
BMW 5 Series is a larger, more luxiurious car than the 3 Series. It can be viewed as a "step up" but is not always what people want, because they are larger and heavier.

The 5 series, accordingly, is more expensive and does not get as good MPG.

You can find many reviews on the BMWs at caranddriver.com
The 3 series comes in coupe, sedan, wagon and convertible. The 5 series comes in sedan and wagon only. Both offer base, luxury and performance models. The biggest difference in the cars is the size, with the 5 series being a bigger car. But someone with your poor spelling and ignorance to use Spell Check doesn't deserve either!
5 is more of an suv. 3 is more like a wagon.
size and the 3 has a convertible top 3 is cheaper and faster 155mph limited
Well the 5 is bigger than the 3 and it also is flashier but if how flashy things are I would go for the 3. Personally I like the looks of the 3 series much better than the five. Plus the twin-turbo isn't too shabby.
5 series is larger and has a bigger engine and a little more luxary as the 3 series is the bottom of the line BMW
