Installing navigation on bmw?

i have a bmw 523i the new model and a idrive. the idrive didnt have a navigation system built in and i just wanted to know if i can install one in and an estimate of how much it would be.

You can take it in to BMW and they can install it easily. Not sure on the cost, that will depend on the dealership itself. But you can't put aftermarket nav in there, unless you get a dash mounted model.

Im an installer and your looking bout $2500 for screen navigation and installation
Cheaper to go to an independent shop than BMW , BMW will charge you 4-5 grand , indy will be 2-3 .
Check into an aftermarket Garmin GPS. I think Volvo is using them as well. I would check some other brands, but that one seems popular. Good luck!
the question is to you is how you want to control the GPs through the same screen as your Idrive? it would be better to get a portable Gps unit like tomtom or any of those types that are voice command. you don't want to mess around trying to use your other hand selecting items on the idrive when you can just use voice command.
Buy a GPS. Caz you can get for really cheap. Or ask BMW if it is possible to instal GPS for you.
