its personal preferance, the hp dont mean anything because your not gunna drive fast with either car anyways. i prefer the bmw, but most would say mercedes is better.
it all depends on taste and price range. a good 760i can go for as much as 100 grand. if i had that much i would buy a 90 grand Maserati Quattroporte it is the fastest un supercharged un turbocharged 4-door sedan in the world it is really awesome. it does 170-175. they are of higher quality than both bmw's and Mercedes and are cheaper nicer and rarer
