I love bmw. but I need a car made in the usa or canada in order to take it to mexico and leave it there.

The X5, Z4 and the new X3 and X6 are being produced in the US in South Carolina.

Previously the Z3 was built in SC and was the first BMW produced in the US.

It depends on the BMW. A few product lines for the North American Market are made in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The other lines are made at a couple of plants in Germany at Munich and Leipzig. I'm sure there is at least one BMW dealer in Mexico City, in which case it wouldn't matter if it was made in the US or imported.
They are made in Germany, but why does it have to be made in the states or canada in order to take it to mexico? That makes no sense....
