I tried this, and I suggest you don't do it. I attempted this with my old 94 Nissan Maxima, which used premium only, and the cylinders started making a lot of noise, even at low speeds. My mechanic said its a quick way to ruin an engine. I have an 330xi now, and the added 3 dollars per fill up will come out costing less than the injector cleaner and possible future engine problems.
