Honestly, I wouldn't go for either one. They are good cars, but German cars with that kind of mileage are going to start racking up some serious service/repair costs very soon. Since the Audi of that vintage is really a souped up Golf, I'd maybe try to find a GTI with fewer miles (though they are not trouble-free either. Personally, I'd go for a Mazda Miata over a TT.
