Fan and timing belts BMW 325 Injection?

on the BMW I would like to change my alternator belt, but to do so I will have to strip another two belts off the front by the rad, so I can change the alternator belt, but what are the other two belts are they something to do with the timing of the car, or are they just pump belts, can I take the other two belts off and just put them back on without worrying about the car?

No need to worry my dear....

The other two belts are powersteering and A/c compressor belt. You can very well remove them and add the alternator belt and get the other replaced.

Before replacing the belts again..please go for through checking of the belts for a sidewall crack or markings.

the timing chain or belt will NOT be visible from outside..it is inside...

Power steering belt and A/C belt. Not timing belt. And, if it is a 325 with an M20 motor, vintage mid to late 1980's, then yes it does have a timing belt. These need to be changed every 60,000 miles or 4 years. Failure of the belt will cause severe engine damage.

Cheers....
The car doesn't have a timing belt - it has a timing chain. The only thing you have to worry about is 'chain stretch' but it takes quite a few miles - it is easily checked. The timing chain is within the engine cowling - it is not visible without taking some of the engine apart.
