I have a 1982 bmw 320i and am wondering how much i could sell the car for?

i am the third owner, all owners non smokers, i have all the maintenance records from all the owners, and everything was profesionally done. the odometer reads 87xxx but there is around 100 000 the interior is in great condition minus a small tear in the shifter leather , but the outside has rust over the wheel well, and by the taillights , and a small blister the size of a dime on the hood

all of the following were replaced:

new water pump

new clutch

all new dashboard lights, and a new hazard button and switch

new fog lights, new front struts and springs

new electrical wiring

new flywheel

new oil filter

new tie rod

i think thats it

non smoker

It's a 26 year old vehicle, so there is no 'set' price on it. So it depends on what YOU think it's worth. Apparently that is $2,000. Set that price on it, if the consumer public agrees it's worth that, you will get your asking price. If no one seems interested, you can always drop it slightly and try again.

Between $2,500 and $5,000, depending upon condition.

KBB doesn't go back that far, but NADA does have prices on classic cars. http://www.nada.com
I would not sell. The older German cars are alot better than any new crap.
The 320i seems to be gaining in popularity as the 2002 becomes more scarce and pricey to restore. Should be worth more if it is as you stated. Advertise in the BMW Roundel magazine or on the Roadfly site, links below.
