Short Throw Shifter for BMW?

The one im looking at for my BMW (e30) is from CARR INDUSTRIES and sells for $100. Its height is adjustable and reduces throw 40%. What do you think?

I have never heard of Carr Industries, but I can vouch for Rougue, the UUC piece, and using a different factory shift lever.

UUC is the best there is, but also very expensive.

Rougue is nice as well, but still not cheap.

Using a different factory lever is cheap and can also yeild good results.

check out understeer.com for info on the UUC piece and shorter factory levers.

If your smart you'll just fabricate your own short shifter. all it is is a piece of metal the bolts from one side to the other.
Sounds good if that's what you want.

I never thought BMW shifters were long throws (like the Porsche 911 was).

Next step - paddle shifters?
