What's a good deal for a BMW 335i coupe with manual and sport package payments should be?

What is the going monthly lease for BMW in your market?

What were the terms of your deal?

I can get a 2007 BMW335i coupe with sports package and manual for under $43,000 + tax %26 reg.

On the BMW lease program, with $5,000 down with $457 month payment for 36 months.... is this a good deal?

This is a lease, you are not buying the car, but just the time to use it. I have owned BMWs and I can tell you either buy it or buy one used but buy don't lease. Listen to Dave Ramsey on the radio and what he thinks about leasing an auto

$457 * 36 = $16000 + $5,000 down = $20,000 to have a car you can only use for 3 years, can't go over a certain mileage on, and have to fix any dents or scratches, and you don't own.

At the end of 3 years, they'll convince you to go for another lease, to avoid having to start over.

Leases aren't cost effective. If your objective is to drive around in more car than you can afford, they work, but generally you're picking up the expense of a car without the benefits.

They in turn will sell the car as a low-mileage BMW of recent years for $10k off, having already earned $20k from you.

I'd suggest buying and hanging on to it for a while.
