I bought a 1994 BMW 325 convertible. Where is the transmision fluid found?

My owners guide dose not show it. Anyone know? Also, how do I install a BMW changer. The guide says its pre-wired and there is already a cd changer mount in the trunk. Can anyone help??

Your transmission is the sealed type, i.e., no dip stick for measuring the fluid level or check the fluid condition. Hence no info in the manual. There is a pre-wire for a CD changer in the trunk, and any competent audio shop can wire a CD changer for you in short order.

I believe your transmission is a sealed unit and is not serviceable. You just replace it when it breaks. Welcome to the land of BMW.
I have a BMW and my dad works for the company I can't give the exact year of when this happened or if it's been this way for some time, but you can't change the transmission fluid or even check it, the transmission is fully contained. this simply means that it should never have anything done to it. It cleans the original fluid that came with the transmission over and over again so you don't ever have to have it serviced or anything. So if you are having transmission problems then I suggest you get it to BMW or a reputable European mechanic. As far as the cd changer goes, in your trunk on the left side usually there is a door like compartment you should be able to pull on it, then it should pop open and you will see the wires and bracings needed to install the cd changer, its pretty basic stuff if you can read and follow directions but it's much less of a hassle just to let BMW do it after you buy the changer.
In the transmission. If it's not, you're in a lot of trouble.
there is a fill plug on the side of the transmission pan. this is where you fill and check the level. now to check - it has to be between 30c - 50c temp, best done at a shop or for the at home people the temp gauge should be at about a 1/4. and when the fluid starts to run out it's full when running in park.

cd - you should see the wires. if not, look behind the side panels. normally they mount under the package shelf on the left side.
in the transmission I would think......
